INTRODUCTION

The clinical video otoscopy images contained on these pages represent cases seen in routine audiological practice with an essentially medically-referred adult patient population. These data are shared as a resource for audiologists who may employ video otoscopy (VO) in their practices. Images and annotations of case examples are non-comprehensive in scope and have been selected and edited for their relevance to the audiological assessment of hearing, the selection, fitting and follow-up care of hearing aids and potential indications for medical referral. All verified and presumptive diagnoses listed herein have been provided by referring and consulting ENT, dermatology and primary care physicians who are responsible for the medical care of these cases.
